The first time bar code labels are requested from the system the user will be required to install the print engine.
This is done by clicking on the 'Install' button from the confirmation window, and following the listed steps:
The confirmation screen will advise you of the current status of the print engine on your PC. It will tell you if the print engine is not installed or if Kewill have issued an update of the engine.
In either case you will need to install the print engine by following the instructions below.
1. A File Download dialogue box will be displayed.
2. Select the Save this program to disk button and click on OK.
3. A Save As… dialogue box will be displayed.
4. Save the setup.exe application to your PC, remembering where you saved it.
A File Download dialogue box will be displayed, charting the progress of the download.
5. When the download has completed, click on the Close button. This has saved the setup.exe file to the place specified by you but does not install the Print Engine.
6. To Install the Print Engine, use Windows Explorer, to locate the file you just saved and then double click on it.
7. After a few moments the installation dialog box will appear:
8. Then click on Next and enter your company details.
9. Then click on Next.
10. Click on Next again (do not change the program locations).
11. Click on Next again
12. Finally, click on Next again and the installation will begin.
13. After a few moments a registration dialogue will appear, click on Next.
14. Should you receive any other message than a successful registration, contact Support.
15. Once the set-up is complete the dialogue box below should be shown.
16. Click on Finish to complete the installation.
The Kewill Print Engine has been installed to your PC.
You can now print your labels.
