1. If you use a Proxy server to access the Internet you will need to perform additional configuration within the Print Engine. (See Proxy Server Configuration below).
2. The Print Engine uses temporary files to generate the bar code data. It will normally use the folder specified in the TEMP or the TMP environment variable set on the PC. Should these not be set, the engine will default to the root folder of the default system drive (normally C:).
If you are using NT based operating systems you must ensure that the user has sufficient access rights (Change) to the temporary folder.
3. In addition to this you will need to ensure that your Temporary Files space is allocated enough disk space. This can be changed from within IE (Tools Menu, Internet Options, click on Settings from the Temporary Files section, and ensure that at least 50MB is allocated). If you receive any 'Out of Storage Space Errors' when printing labels, this value should be increased.
4. If you are using fast laser print across a high speed network you will need to ensure that the option 'Start Printing after Last Paged Spooled' is turned on in the Scheduling Tab of the Printer Properties. This is to ensure that the printer does not print the labels before the print engine has managed to create them.
5. In order for the Print Engine to operate correctly, 'Cookies' will need to be enabled on your PC. This is enabled by Viewing the Internet Options for your PC (Tools menu, Internet Options from within IE). Select Custom Level and ensure that the Cookies prompt is set to Enable.
